The secret to an all-day hold is placement — specifically, where the wire sits on your head.

1. Create your shelf Part your hair horizontally from ear to ear, about 1–2 inches above your ears. Clip the top section up and out of the way.

2. Place front and back Set the wire approximately one inch back from your hairline. Then press the back of the halo down and under the small bump at the base of your skull. The halo should curve around your head — not rest on top of it.

3. Cover and blend Release your top section and smooth it down over the wire. Use a tail comb to pull any remaining hair over the weft until the wire is fully hidden. Brush through the ends to blend.

Once it's seated correctly, it holds beautifully all day.
